Top Load Case Packers
Top Load Case Packers are typically used on product or cartons that are difficult to side load. Top loading products such as shampoo bottles are typically easier to control than side loading that particular product. How top load cartoners work is that a gantry or cartesian robot will pick the carton or product and place it in the top end of the case. Typical product applications include shampoo bottles, jars, canisters, and vials.

End Load Case Packers
End Load Case Packers will typically erect a case using either a reciprocating feeder or a gantry robot. Product or cartons will then collate into the correct pack pattern and then be side loaded into the case. Side loading the product or cartons is typically done using a robotic pusher. Typical product applications are shown below:
