AFA Systems has shipped a reconditioned Langen Model QC Cartoner to Alimentos S.A. in Guatemala

AFA has recently shipped a reconditioned Langen Model QC Cartoner to Alimentos. This shipment shows AFA’s continued endeavors into new international markets such as Guatemala. AFA installed a new HMI system on the reconditioned QC Cartoner as well as set up the machine to handle two dedicated sizes. The set up included programming and testing. The reconditioned QC Cartoner will prove to be an economical solution for Alimentos. Alimentos will have all the benefits of automated packaging technology without having to incur a large capital cost.

Main Features of the reconditioned QC Cartoner

Rapid single point depth adjustment with line shaft and ball screw assemblies
Enclosed and totally supported four chain carton carriers with # 40 chain arranged in pairs for low maintenance or continuous heavy duty applications
Quick acting, manual adjustment of the major carton magazine components using a group of parallel screw actuated adjustors complete with hand wheel assemblies
Siko digital readouts on shaft adjustments to assist in completing fast and accurate carton changeovers
Perimeter guarding with electrical interlocks
