CF-GTE – GLUE STYLE TRAY/CARTON FORMER
The CF-GTE – Glue Style Tray/Carton Former offers an easy carton/tray blank loading magazine. The magazine can be on a vertical or horizontal orientation, and the cartons/trays can be easily loaded at an ergonomic level. Also, the CF-GTE has an innovative quick changeover feature. The cartons/trays are formed using a mandrel head and folding rails. The changeover is completed by simply replacing the mandrel head and adjusting the folding rails. The CF-GTE does not require a female forming tool, which significantly reduces the cost of change parts. The system can also be built for all servo change over. This feature provides fully automatic change over in less than one minute. Stainless steel construction and safety guarding with interlocks come standard on the CF-GTE.
The CF-GTE features an Allen Bradley CompactLogix Control System and touchscreen HMI. All major actuations on the carton former are servo driven. The system can handle self-locking or glue style trays and cartons. Remote access is standard on the CF-GTE.
The vertical orientation of the magazine makes loading easier and quicker for operators. The cartons/trays are formed using a mandrel head and folding rails. The CF-GTE features a very compact footprint for easy integration. Easily troubleshoot machine problems, track machine performance, and set-up new sizes.
